Without looking at the paragraph: laying the cables probably does not require a license. When it comes to the inspection or connection of the electrical box, a license is needed, but that does not make up 100% of the installation costs.

Without knowledge, I would claim it as well. Only electricians registered with a VNB are allowed to work on the electrical system. The first mistakes already begin when laying the cables.

especially as the woman still uses public transport (for now). Does she want to cover the 60 km with public transport part-time and be flexible for the children – forget it! So either two cars with the corresponding additional costs or switch jobs before the kids come.

You seem a bit naive to me.

Someone who is a market analyst shouldn’t wear rose-colored glasses. Although, our ANALysts always think they know better in the bank anyway.

The woman currently takes public transportation, then no longer - I already wrote that, and I also factored in at the beginning that we would then have additional costs.

It is: net 4400€

We are not even talking about children at the moment, so you can also wait until the salary has increased.

I am certainly not naive about that. Of course, if you have a plot of land, you consider building on it. Especially since it is not unusual in our Main-Kinzig district for both to commute to Frankfurt for work. We have also discussed this topic extensively.

How realistic is it that the salary will increase above the tariff raises?

In my industry, it is normal for the salary to increase with years of professional experience. From junior to manager, to senior to project leader. In other consulting firms up to partner, etc. – for those who want it. Then eventually no more. Salary depends on the entry level.

With my wife, it increases annually by a minimal amount up to a certain point according to experience level and collective agreement.
