For that, you need a licensed electrician. Read NAV §13.

If there is an electrician in the family, then you can probably manage the connection to the network.

But I am happy to repeat myself.

30,000 are at least 600 professional hours, so 1,200 amateur hours, spread over 6 months, 50 hours a week. Spread over 2 people, that is 25 hours a week. So every Saturday 10 hours extra and Monday to Friday every evening 3 hours extra.

If you planned that as a paid side job, it would be legally prohibited.

Hmm... if you have a banker in the family, do you also get financing?

You can completely forget the plans. If grandma/grandpa can’t anymore: problem. Longer travel time: problem if kids vomit in daycare and have to be picked up. Full-time with 2 kids in shift work: challenging. Changing employer with 2 kids: nobody waits here.

Tip: Always calculate with cold rents. Additional costs for energy and so on must also be paid in your own house.

And what is not quite clear to me here: the actual and the target condition. Salary, shift work, travel times and costs: do they apply now? Will you have the same conditions later? I also can’t imagine leaving children in after-school care or daycare and commuting 60 km to work. When I look at the young colleagues around here, they actually have to leave spontaneously sometimes and take care of the children. Expectant mothers are not suitable for shift work, and so on and so forth.

I don’t want to speak badly of anything here, but just to remind you not to mix up the situations – what would work locally now looks completely different with children.

Also, sugarcoating a job change is over. Most of the time, a 30-hour job in the next supermarket is more likely, which of course brings in less money, but travel costs and time are eliminated.

A bit off, isn't it?

The answer is yes in both cases, by the way.
