Connecting door fronts

Hello
In my pantry as well as in the cabinet for the refrigerator, I have a 60x80 door at the bottom and a 60x120 door above. I want to connect the upper and lower doors so that it becomes one large 200 door.
Do I use the 602.635.88 Utrusta connecting strip for this, or is there something else from Ikea, or should I simply use a metal strip from the hardware store???

So for now we want to install our old fridge/freezer combo (178 cm niche). Later a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment will be installed; this one will then have a large door for the 178 cm niche. Best regards Section Chief

Why do you want to connect the doors when there is a fridge and freezer section? You don't always want to open both doors at the same time.

What you can use to connect them will depend on how much space is behind the door. If it is installed on a new fridge with a flat hinge, there might not be any space at all. The UTRUSTA connecting rail seems generally unnecessarily large for this purpose.

I am currently not going to connect the fronts on the refrigerator yet, only when I replace the fridge/freezer combo with the 1-door refrigerator. My question therefore mainly concerns the pantry cabinet, which also has a 120 cm and an 80 cm door (to have the same look as the refrigerator).
In addition, I now want to connect two 60x40 hinged doors on a 60 cm base cabinet.
Should I also use the Utrusta rail for this?

Last week I assembled an 80 cm base cabinet for the domsjö double sink, which has 1 drawer with an 80x40 front on the bottom and above connected an 80x20 front. The set for the drawer (Maximera) also included connecting rails, but different from the Utrusta 602.635.88.
There was also an assembly instruction included showing exactly how to install the rails. There were longer connecting rails on the outside (similar to 602.635.88) and additionally 2 short connecting rails on the inside.
I have already looked around, but unfortunately I cannot find this assembly instruction anywhere on Ikea’s website for download.
It would be ideal if the two short connecting rails could be purchased separately from Ikea.
Do you have any idea which rails I mean? I could scan the assembly instruction if necessary?

If they are not too thick and do not hit the inner drawer slides, use these to connect the doors. Install them only after the doors are aligned.
