Far too simple to come up with. With the swap, what you wanted is achieved. I would still tweak the bathroom a bit.

A dining table does not fit in 2.60m width, that will simply be too tight. Your sofa corner won’t be cozy anyway with two children who later run to the kitchen several times in the evening. With children, I would always hide the sofa corner a bit, otherwise you will never have any peace in the living room later (when the children get bigger).

Best regards
Sabine

How does the *ahem* "modern" front door get lost in a house that could be categorized under ´Friesenhaus´?

What am I supposed to imagine by that? - Brick slips?

What is the motive behind that?

Where is the room supposed to come from all of a sudden? You can count on closets being 60 cm deep, and at least 90 cm in between... that would already be 210 cm out of 440 cm. That leaves just about 20 cm distance for the bed-wall.
Swapping the bathroom is certainly better.

Spontaneously, I would also swap living and cooking.

And I also say the bay window is too narrow for a dining table.

Strange, I think it really hits you when you see the misaligned patio door. I also find the bay window too narrow for the table. The question is whether it really has to serve for the table. If the cuddle sofa doesn't get too huge, maybe the table can stand crosswise? (sorry, the patio doors got messed up during tinkering, please imagine that there was an additional window in the bay window instead.) I really can't stand that stupid deep corner that protrudes into the room. Which brings me to the question of whether I couldn't cover the terrace differently, push the kitchen back up again, and then come across much more classically than originally thought.

Many things jumped out at me, for example the unnecessary tile pattern... that slanted wall I hate: my eye gets stuck on it, and I wonder who designs something like that. Then I close
