So, I'll tell you somewhat politely what I read when I read you: You love to put pressure on, to command, to see others jump for you, but you choose the easy way for yourself.
Ouch. That sting must run very deep.
You can't stand it when you sit in front of a civil servant and they fail. Neither pressure nor money helps, you are powerless, he/she is not dependent on you, but only bound by the law. Bad feeling for you: Master of the universe debunked...
In principle, I have nothing against failure. It's human and should happen even in the best places.
The problem is the tone. (But okay. I'm the only one who finds that certain tone really awful.) And also how the mistake is dealt with.
By the way, I'm glad the civil servant is not dependent on me. Thank God! Otherwise, I would still be responsible for such a person. No interest at all.
And now about civil servant status: It is based on incorruptibility: therefore alimentation and care.
It is based on loyalty. That is mutual. Loyalty to the employer/the German people and its laws, but the employer, the people are also loyal to me: tenure.
And where that has led, we see every day anew...
I had to laugh at "incorruptible" :) Honestly. That is really amusing.
But you are just from a completely different generation than I am... Times are changing. There won't be tenured civil servants for much longer. You can already see how they are being cut back. You get three guesses as to why, among other things ;-)
The principle of task fulfillment: no matter how difficult, no matter how uneconomical, if the law sets a task, it must be fulfilled.
Exactly. That is obviously how a civil servant thinks.
But that is precisely no longer "state of the art." If your employer tells you to walk into a wall, then the good civil servant has probably done so. And nicely, carefully at an appropriate speed. But times are changing.
Be proactive. Think economically (for the people. For the common good).
Hiding behind the complexity of a task will soon no longer be tolerated ;-)
If a procedure is being processed, then please with prudence, carefully, law-compliant.
Exactly... IF a procedure is being processed. ;) That’s exactly the point. IF...
Moreover, you probably don’t really want to open the can of worms of "law compliance" with civil servants. There are literally dozens of threads right here in this forum alone that prove the opposite...
Four-eyes principle. Ensures incorruptibility. That someone else looks at my cases again. Especially where money flows.
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
I think you are describing a dream world here. It is nice. But unfortunately not real.
That must hurt to read... I'm sorry too. Honestly.
Your ideology is beautiful. It speaks well of you.
As I said... all not real. Unfortunately.
