then you get an interim notification after 2 months and 10 days and you can take a hike on the deadline ;)

In public administration, priority is given to who suffers more damage if their application takes too long to process, and yes, economic efficiency considerations are also included, where compensation claims are most likely to occur.

Why is that? Because there is no substitute arrangement or the substitute might also be absent.... because generally there are too many cases on the desk and because every Tom, Dick and Harry feels the need to speed up their application during a personal conversation, instead of distracting the administration from work with annoying calls and personal appointment requests, just let them do their work.

Now you are flanking one of the white knights... But please remember that equal rights apply to everyone here. (I hope so) You keep saying: You reap what you sow... So, always look at yourself first and don't always cry right away. ;-) Sorry for the eternally long OT! From now on, I'm out of this thread. Everything OT that could be said has been said. Everyone has their opinion on the topic of civil servants and competence and why it is like that. Everyone is sweet. Best regards Farilo

No matter how much I have already gotten upset about the inability and incompetence of others (as is currently the case), I have never had that thought...

You are right, beheading is more spectacular.

But this is not about knight games, rather about the exchange of experience and information between and among builders and professionals. Since you and your acquaintances apparently have had many negative experiences with authorities, the OP and all readers could have benefited from your experiences if you had reported on how and with what success you defended yourself. Instead, your very first post consists only of empty generalizations with derogatory vocabulary, which incites other users to senselessly bloat a thread without reference to the topic – typical trolling behavior. Until now, I was of the opinion that this has no place here. But if users applaud this, from whom I did not expect it, and no moderator intervenes, then I guess I have no place here anymore.

Which law you are claiming remains a mystery. Likewise, what my nose has to do with it. And at least in this thread, you were the first to shout inappropriately.

I did not imagine that my topic would escalate into such bashing. I also have not read the entire thread. What annoys me, however, is that I had dealings with the office at various points in my city. At almost all points, I was treated unfriendly and like an annoying client: I submitted my building application and waited 3 months without bothering anyone. I even accepted the expected date, which at 4 months exceeds the period specified by the state building regulations, without complaining. But when I inquired, I was approached very harshly. Person XY was on vacation; others were no different; even sayings like "In the time we are on the phone, I could have already continued working." If I have to deal with people, I cannot get upset about having to talk to them. Then that was probably the wrong career choice. Furthermore, this waiting time apparently has been going on for a while. Even people who submitted building applications in 2016 had to endure these excessive waiting times. There is generally something wrong here. The invoice for the approval then came promptly and must be paid by me within 14 days......
