always funny how civil servants keep whining about "understaffed" and "staff shortage". nobody gives a damn! just work longer, that's what you expect too when you take your car to the garage or when you want to annoy citizens with some nonsense.
anyone who points out every other second that you have to follow some rules and stuff should follow the rules themselves.
just the day before yesterday I had 4 of these bureaucrats at my door. they wanted to block my driveway with a tree on the street because apparently we built differently than originally approved. of course, that was bullshit, because none of them could read a drawing. their argument: the pipe in the ground was specially rerouted so that a tree could stand there. that was supposedly also in the development plan. funny though, that all the other neighbors were able to have their trees relocated (according to the plan). well, after 30 minutes of blabbering and the threat of a lawyer and so on, it suddenly was allowed.
this constant "you have to follow the rules" crap really pisses me off, and probably most other citizens too. but then they themselves accomplish NOTHINNGGG. the development plan states 35 dBA at night, but we have far over 50 dBA because of the highway. but of course no sound barrier will be built. instead, they erected one on the other side and seriously think it will make it quieter for us (actually it gets twice as loud, because the sound is reflected and comes to us). and they still try to fool us. this has been going on for 4 years and nothing happens.
and then they’re surprised that no one takes them seriously at the office?
I could tell more simple stories about our office. in the private sector, the organization would have been bankrupt long ago.
