Possibly a silly question, is it still possible in the process to make some of the doors sliding doors? Because the door leaves projecting into the room at the top of the plan are blocking a lot of space...
I am aware that this is generally less easy to furnish, but I still do not clearly understand what might have meant here.
Sorry, I must have expressed myself incorrectly. If the room were, for example, not 4.83m but only 4.24m and correspondingly somewhat longer, an island kitchen would be possible.
I don't know what kind of palaces you live in, but generally I would never claim that 43 m² is "not ample" or "very tiny." You just have to think a bit about which furniture you want to place where, how much space they need, etc., but you have to do that with 50, 60, or 70 m² as well. I do agree, however, that you shouldn't only start thinking about this on the day you move in.
I see it exactly the same way. We even have only 38 sqm (we poor people are practically living in a mouse cage), but these 38 sqm were planned around the kitchen from the start so that it fits us. I also don't see the problem here in the area, but rather that due to the windows, a sensible arrangement is almost impossible and everything will look like compromises.
I absolutely agree with that. We even have only 38 sqm (we poor ones practically live in a mouse cage), but these 38 sqm were planned around the kitchen from the beginning, so that it works for us. I don't see the problem here in the area either, but that a sensible placement is almost impossible because of the windows and everything will look like compromises.
Thank you for your opinion. The right window (in the living area) is a fixed division. It just cannot be drawn with Sweethome. Question: do you also have an island in the kitchen?
