I don't quite understand yet... on what the building authority has, the chimney is exactly in the same place as in Clipboard 2, isn't it? Is that a freelance architect or the painter from your builder? The whole construction is awful... however, you did sign the building application like that, didn't you? How did the architect draw it in? What was contractually agreed? This won't do... I would possibly do without the chimney and have the costs for the flue reimbursed if the builder agrees to that?!

If I look at the sequence of doors on the upper floor alone, then I know that no real architect drew this. Presumably, the architect of the construction company signed and stamped the plan from the seller. I would be interested in the entire house with furnishings. I suspect that there is not much space for a fireplace. and would tend to leave out the chimney as well.

We have no children and it was intentional that you can only get to the bathroom through the bedroom. This area is off-limits to our guests and the threshold to enter a bedroom is higher than to enter a bathroom. The marked children's room is therefore more of an office as is the room by the staircase. Clipboard 01 was intended by us this way; the chimney on the upper floor is incorrectly marked and is now directly in front of the door to the bedroom. It should have actually been 1.25 cm. In Clipboards 02 and 03 the ground floor is identical to 01 (this is all already stated). In 02, one stair step was concreted so that there is now at least 0.97 cm from the stairway to the chimney. This allows a door to be set here somehow. As a result, the stairs are now significantly steeper. Of course, the straight walls no longer fit, so they are now angled. Clipboard 03 shows where we would like to move the chimney if this is technically feasible. My question is not how you find the floor plan, but whether an already erected chimney in the shell construction (the roof is also already covered) can still be moved – torn down and rebuilt at the desired location?

I would sit down with the company and check where the blame is seen here. Alone with the step, strange facts are being created. I would not simply accept that - if I feel I am right. If you feel unsure, get help. Otherwise: could one possibly consider having the bedroom placed on the left side of the plan and the bathroom arranged at the top right of the plan?

Yes, it looks like we will get an expert involved for this issue, as we don't trust the matter with the re-concreted step... however, without this step one would run into the chimney after 30 cm - also not a solution. We will meet on site next week - we would actually like to insist on moving the chimney. However, the builder already said that this is not technically possible. But I suspect he does not want the extra work and says this for that reason. He has not justified his statement so far - maybe he will still do so. Is a chimney not allowed to be next to a wooden staircase? Can't one drill a new hole through the ceiling and then raise the chimney there? Then close the hole at the old location? I mean, if you can concretrate a step afterwards, then you should also be able to close a hole again, right? Does the roof then have to be completely uncovered and re-roofed? etc.... I don't imagine this is easy - but it should be doable, or am I wrong here? For us, that would be the best solution... possibly we might even give up on that completely and look for alternatives regarding a cozy fire. But even then the holes must be closed again... Regarding the bathroom, I'm not sure if this is possible since the pipes are planned here and holes have been left accordingly. But the idea is worth considering. At the moment we still feel left alone and only get alternatives that we ourselves have proposed... but this will surely improve next week...

To my knowledge, moving the chimney does not work, as the base plate will have a reinforcement exactly at this location, if it was done correctly.
