And that is also gambling. Of course, interest rates can rise. But who says that prices will tumble because of that?

that demand regulates the price....
and if interest rates rise, fewer houses can be bought on credit...

just my opinion that building a house is currently very expensive... more expensive than when interest rates are high.

now is simply a bad time for high equity because the interest rate is low... and it will fall even further

You seem to have a pretty functional crystal ball. Congratulations on that.

Regarding the actual question here:
Yes, you have good conditions to afford building a house.

Good income and equity are also well available. Just also develop scenarios regarding income fluctuations with children.

We had already saved €250,000 in equity by our mid-30s, which we invested in the house construction. Generalizations like above are simply nonsense. You can also build equity without inheritance. For us, for example:
Good income, low expenses, and therefore a monthly savings rate of €2,500. This way we were able to build the equity in about 8 years.

Good luck to the thread starters.

Your posts have something of BILD newspaper headlines.

Pure platitudes without any recognizable content, added value, or evidence for your claims.

Just your first post here in the thread says it all.

But at least it’s pleasing that you admit yourself that you don’t have a crystal ball.

Also pleasing that there is the ignore function. So feel free to save me any further writing.

One of the mods can feel free to delete this post as well. No problem.

The actual question here has been answered anyway.

No healthy common sense wastes its time here in the forum, only laymen and low earners lower social class class ... and I am supposed to spend time on that??? Have I missed that you are the construction guru ...
