but with the higher price you buy yourself the satisfaction guarantee ... no matter whether vacation, house construction, etc. ... as soon as you start saving, the risk of receiving an unsatisfactory service increases ....

and it is absolute nonsense here ...

because as soon as I can think about whether I can afford something or not ... I can't afford it ...

and one more thing, if I save 150k in 10 years, at 40 years old I pay for my house in cash and go on vacation with the saved 50k€ interest

That, in turn, is a matter of opinion; some people are stressed by crowds and the eternal idleness with AI as well.

That is quite a generalization, and not correct. I spent my main vacation this year with the little ones in the garden, absolutely relaxed and satisfied. Costs: low. Besides, the risk is only somewhat smaller, not zero. Especially satisfaction and happiness are difficult to measure, and according to many studies, wealth does not correlate with satisfaction at all, to say nothing of causality. If you don’t think about whether you can afford a big purchase like a house, you are doing something wrong (and not that you can’t afford it). You need to know exactly what is coming your way, how much, and exactly what you get for your money, otherwise it ends in endless compromises and you will certainly be unhappy. And saving longer doesn’t help, after all, you want to live in the house. If you have nothing constructive to contribute, then just leave it alone.

from on the go

We are currently saving about €25k per year... and in 3-4 years it will start... as soon as interest rates rise and prices drop, we'll strike... everything else vacation car insurance should run quite normally without saving mode...

exactly right Active vacation is more relaxing than All In...

I recommend economics 1 ... such nonsense. Planned consumption for utility maximization is a fundamental part of our society. What do you think how start-ups operate? What do you think why people are able to study?
