Hello dear forum.

We are about to finalize our financing.
However, it seems that the kitchen will probably not be accepted.
I understand that this varies from bank to bank?
We would like to include it in the main loan.
What options are there? Are there any at all?
I hope you can help.

Best regards
Steffen

What do you mean by "will not be accepted"? Has the bank where you want to finalize the deal excluded co-financing for the kitchen? Then there are not many options, their conditions are their conditions.

You could possibly increase other "own contribution" items a bit and then use the money for the kitchen. But I would definitely discuss that honestly with the bank advisor beforehand. It depends on how they handle it. If they only pay out money against receipts to the clearing account, then of course you have a problem with a kitchen furniture invoice. If there is a certain budget "at your disposal," then that could work. There are banks that do not want to see a receipt for every 20€ bill, others do.

Not accepted means that the kitchen cannot be financed. They say it does not belong with the house. I believe many have this problem when the kitchen is not to be financed externally (through equity or financing). Let's see if there are other opinions.

Well, if you rely on financing, try the kitchen studio.

What kind of "opinions" are you expecting, please? Everything has been said. Maybe other banks handle it differently. You won’t be able to convince your current one.

Financing through the kitchen studio usually works, nowadays quite cheaply as well. It also has the advantage that you don't finance the kitchen over 20 years. With the home loan, you might still be paying it off if you already install the next one.
