Hello, I am new here and have already been able to read up a bit. Since I was looking for a solution to a topic that has not yet been addressed here, I was able to help myself. But in the meantime, I have looked into other topics and feel the need to add my two cents.
I have often read how it is advised here to submit the KfW application as soon as possible this year. Partly misleading, in my opinion. Because it is not worthwhile for everyone. On the contrary, other builders should be advised to submit the KfW application from 01.04.2016. Why, wherefore, why? Therefore, I want to divide this here into KfW energy efficiency classes.
KfW 70: Submit application by 31.03.2016!
Explanation: KfW 70 will become the standard as of 01.01.2016 and will therefore no longer be subsidized! Money is saved here and invested in more efficient building projects. So money is not simply cut here but shifted to KfW 40 and KfW 40 Plus, which I personally consider absolutely right. The KfW thus gives builders four more months after the change.
KfW 55: Application from 01.04.2016
Explanation: The maximum funding amount at 0.75% per residential unit is increased from 50,000 euros to 100,000 euros. In addition, there is a 5% repayment subsidy. With 100,000€, that is 5,000€ which you do not have to pay back at the end of the term.
KfW 40: Application from 01.04.2016
Explanation: The maximum funding amount at 0.75% per residential unit is increased from 50,000 euros to 100,000 euros. In addition, there is a 10% repayment subsidy. With 100,000€, that is 10,000€ which you do not have to pay back at the end of the term.
KfW 40 Plus: Application from 01.04.2016
Explanation: The maximum funding amount at 0.75% per residential unit is increased from 50,000 euros to 100,000 euros. In addition, there is a 15% repayment subsidy. With 100,000€, that is 15,000€ which you do not have to pay back at the end of the term.
A KfW 40 Plus house is basically a KfW 40 house with a photovoltaic system that generates more electricity than is consumed. The unused electricity is stored in batteries.
