Yes, don’t let yourself get crazy. In times when the garage sometimes seems more important than the house, even such dimensions are often questioned. It won’t be spacious but still enough for two cars plus storage space.

9 m is long enough for garbage bins, bicycles, and shelves. 6 m external dimensions are not wide enough to fully open car doors or walk through with bicycles in between. Especially with children. It is about as much space as 2 parking spaces side by side. Cars fit in. Wider is more comfortable.

Door garage house is nice, not essential. Although this door is used most by us. Even friends go through the garage. My husband said the next house the front door will be painted on. It serves the purpose,

fire protection regulations can be an argument. Here garages are relatively close to the house. About 2 m away

And which comment actually prompted you to do this? I couldn't identify any? There was a request for the site plan and the location of the house. From that, something could have been derived/decided, but as it is? One wants to be able to walk through between the garage and the house, e.g. into the garden, onto the terrace, the other wants to go directly from the house into the garage. But for that, the floor plan has to fit...

What is width and what is depth? Interior or exterior dimension? How big are the cars and what else needs to go in (bicycles, tools, trailer, recyclables separated into 10 types, ...)? How much space do you need for getting in and out?

Therefore, "or" could very well be the right answer - 5.27 m for example - and it significantly depends on the door situation and the parking configuration (front/front, rear/front or rear/rear) ...
