Budget planning. Cost calculation

Do you mean cooking island or grease island? We wanted something like that for a while as well and decided against it during the planning process.

Our kitchen cost €11,500. Brand kitchen from Schüller. With a preparation island. When I see how many grease splatters I have behind the cooktop, I'm glad I don't have them all around the island. You spend much more time chopping and preparing than cooking and frying anyway.



Do you already have a ground survey? Because of our soil, we had to invest about €10,000 more in stabilizing the ground. You shouldn't overlook that. We thus had additional costs amounting to €40,000.

For exactly this reason, we are getting a "preparation half-island" with a counter around the corner.

Since the counter was fixed for us, we decided to place the cooking area elsewhere on the wall because we didn't want the grease splatters. Also, the extractor hood would have severely restricted our line of sight.

So the kitchen is possible for the price, you just have to look a lot and have the courage to negotiate.
What I find missing in the list are the taxes?
