@Mbk84 same case (chain house), only I was the "injured party."
We had it checked by a surveyor before starting the shell construction, and afterwards the neighbor as well. The first feared encroachment was about 5 cm. In the end it was something between 1-3 cm. My lifetime was too valuable to me and the chances of success too unclear, even according to the architect's opinion.
That's "funny," we also had a chat about this about a year ago, when we were still in the planning phase. It seems that minimal encroachment happens quite often. In the chain housing, those decisive 2 cm can of course matter. When I googled, I found reports from builders whose garage no longer fit into the gap. Then 2 cm were "planed off" from the insulation with a chainsaw; no idea if that is professionally done like that
Wasn't that a chain house where every lot is the same width? Or am I mixing that up?
