Hey we want that too. You must not take that one, otherwise it will become fashionable. Uh, so yeah, terribly scratch-sensitive! :p

The worst thing that can happen to you later when selling is that the house price is basically calculated down with generic standard features :p

We also have the Steinberg Series 100, now in the new bathroom for almost half a year. We have no lime stains, minimal lime deposits around the faucet outlet, but those can be removed. So far, I do not notice any increased maintenance effort, unlike our matte black kitchen :/ I also find matte black in the shower chic, but we decided against it because we actually consider it very maintenance-intensive and I’m afraid it will quickly look neglected.

Btw: Yes, fashion comes and goes. But if that means choosing a boring version that I like only half as much, then I gladly take fashion. By the way, I have been collecting pictures of interior designs for 10 years now and I notice that my taste has changed little. But that may not apply to everyone. I should perhaps add that I have never been a fan of bright colors – it oscillates more between a friendly light gray and a cozy dark gray ;)

Bad mood? :) It’s always amazing how aggressively one can react, even to the most trivial topics like the question of whether wood is timeless or not.

I’m certainly not the only one with that view. And oak is a wood and here oak floorboards were discussed. If after 20 years you think you want gray oak floorboards now: sand, glaze, done. And if after another 5 years you realize that gray is out of fashion again: same procedure.

Me? No? You? Must have come across wrong to you. I didn’t attack you.

My wife is really going all out now and wants a black toilet ceramic. I actually think it's cool too, but the work before a possibly necessary sale is not getting any less right now...
