That's probably how it will go for us in the first few years as well . Note - the children's bathroom also needs a high-tech shower.

Shower bathroom
There isn't much space for storage, I just noticed that now.
Shower stuff has to go in the shower. Above the washbasin a mirrored cabinet and underneath a pull-out cabinet, that's probably all that fits. Towels... hmm, a towel heater for hanging on the wall opposite the washbasin? So, it’s not really thought through yet. I would then keep fresh towels in a towel and laundry cabinet in the utility room, I think that would be okay in terms of the route, right?

Children
Oh, our girl is 3.5 years old and the boy is 8 months.

You have a lot of unused space in front of the sinks in the main bathroom (between the sinks and the bathtub). Maybe you can reduce this a bit and add it to another room. You cannot swap the toilet and shower with the current windows - at least not if you plan a door. Or you can move the window or do without it. Regardless, if you do swap them, I would still reconsider the frosted window there. It might be that another row of houses will be planned behind your garden later (no idea how large it will be).

True. Actually, there should also be room for a nice chair / small armchair in the bathroom. That somehow got overlooked.

That’s also true regarding the windows and the shower.

Nothing will be built behind, that area is off-limits. The development plan would have to be completely changed just for one plot... I don’t believe that. And if it did happen, I could still do something with the windows. Besides, if the plot should ever be sold, we would buy it.

I can’t assess the distance from the utility room to the bathrooms – but everything is possible. I mean – many of us used to have just one bathroom and less space and managed just fine. But keep in mind that if you’re building without a basement, the utility room will already be quite full – heating system, supply line entries, distribution box, possibly internet/TV distribution, washing machine, dryer, possibly a sink (the water from the condenser dryer/heat pump dryer has to go somewhere), cabinets for tools and small parts that are used more frequently, etc.

One more point about towel heaters. If you plan a floor heating system with a heat pump, it makes little sense, as far as I know, to connect the towel heater to it. For heating, you only need about 23 degrees Celsius, but that won’t dry towels any faster than usual. So if you want a towel heater, you should consider a (switchable) electric one.

Exactly, we are getting an E-cartridge for the towel radiator.
