I don’t find the T-solution successful. However, I don’t like this kind of solutions because too much space is lost. One of our neighbors has a T-solution. In the partition wall of the WC to the toilet, he built in a cabinet that moves on rollers in the niche. On the shower side, a shelf was built into the wall and tiled.
From experience with older kids (19 and 16), boy and girl, I can report the following: sharing the bathroom... only until the oldest child starts primary school.
Two sinks per bathroom are a personal preference.
Important: Two toilets and two showers in the house. A female teen = bathtub is a MUST.
Our layout: shower bathroom = men's bathroom bathtub bathroom with shower, heat cabin and colorful lights = women’s zone
