They may apply to "many" projects, but every installation should still be considered based on the circumstances and requirements.

In my opinion, both don’t make sense.
That also depends on many factors.
What did the storage cost?
How many cycles can it handle per year?
How high is my consumption?
Our storage, for example, cost €6,000 and has saved us exactly €3,000 after 5 years.
After 10 years, it will have paid off.
And I have many in my circle of acquaintances where it looks similar and where the storage is also expected to pay off.
