We are currently also building in the Oberpfalz. We thought about what we like and what requirements we have for the individual rooms. With these thoughts, we made appointments with five companies. This is how the floor plan was created and one got a feeling for how the costs are composed. Also keep in mind that the construction companies are currently busy. If you want to build in 2018, it could already be tight.

Of course, the house should also fit our financial means. A middle ground has to be found. We don’t want to regret or build too small, but we don’t need oversized rooms or excessive luxury.

Also, things like underfloor heating wouldn’t be important to us now (without having checked the cost-effectiveness) and we don’t need particularly large windows either. (I always see newly built houses with huge windows down to the floor and then the blinds are closed all day long)
