Advice 2 variant dining and living area

Hello everyone,
I need your advice on my sketch.
I am really having trouble deciding which option to choose.

1st option: with 2 small retaining walls (each about 0.9m). Here I can better plan and install a glass sliding door with the help of one retaining wall. I don’t really like the other wall (sofa, TV area).
2nd option: The retaining walls are made in the hallway/entrance area. This gives me a large dining-living area. The disadvantage I see is the door between the hallway and living area. It would then be only about 1m wide.

What are your opinions?

Why can the door in Variant 2 only be 1m wide? The available space for the door is approximately the same in both variants.

In Variant 2, one could also build a small wall if the sliding door to the kitchen is to be installed there.

Your furniture does not seem to correspond to realistic dimensions. A normal dining table is about 1.8-2.0m wide, in your picture it looks like there is more than 1m of space between the kitchen island and the dining table, I don't believe that corresponds to reality. Your sofa corner also appears very spacious with 1m of space to the wall, that probably doesn't fit either.

- the door in option 2 may only be about 1m wide because it is a load-bearing wall.
- do you mean the small left wall like in option 1?
