...and have you ever looked into the causes? Doesn't sound like you expected the amount...

I agree. It should only be based on m2. Possibly also the location. But then tax withdrawals would disappear or most people wouldn't be able to afford their little house anymore... It would be fairer.

Property tax in its current form is a hidden wealth tax, but it corresponds to the common ability-to-pay principle in tax law.

Of course, it is a wealth tax. But it shouldn't be. Actually, everything should be settled with the real estate transfer tax. However, measuring it based on the object and its equipment is an outrage.

The question is whether it is unusually high or not. So before winter, I wouldn’t have expected to consume that much just due to lack of experience. But you have to say, there is the electric car and the house, even if it is kfw55, has an area including the basement (even though we do not heat the basement, or were heating it for 3 weeks but not during the screenshot period) of 210 sqm. That would be 31 kWh per day in the deepest winter. We will see how it is next year. Currently, I am at 5579 kWh consumption since 21.07.19 despite photovoltaics.

Well, that is just a matter of opinion. One could just as well say that the progression of the income tax is unfair. Personally, I think it's okay that the person who can afford to build expensively also pays more for the general public than the one who can't and instead lives in an old existing apartment. But that's certainly something to argue about.
