There are now Christmas lights with batteries... ... none anywhere at all?
3 years done - still haven't found a ceiling lamp for the kitchen!

Yes, in the hallway. In the living room. On the terrace, something is glowing everywhere. Only in front of the front door, there is just a wreath hanging on the number. The power outlet is unfortunately only on the terrace. And in the garage. It was simply forgotten to plan.

We don’t have any at the front either. They don’t usually do that, I once read. Fortunately, we have some in the garage for the “front lights.”

I am responsible for decorative lighting - but nothing is planned in front of the house either. Lighting is inside at the WC window, and the house number. That is enough. The garden is lit where I can see it from the living area. So rather little in front of the house. And just so the neighbors have a nice view, I definitely won’t put anything there.

I like the lights, and all our neighbors decorate their fir trees outside too. My star is now hanging. My dear electrician specially planned an outdoor socket for it. This one is controlled from inside with a timer switch. Isn't he sweet to me and my star? :)

The garden is illuminated where I can see it from the living area. So rather little in front of the house. And only so that the neighbors have a nice view, I certainly won't put anything there.
We have a lot in front of the house: the house tree in the front garden and 2 globe bushes, boxwood and a small cypress to the left and right of the entrance.
I really like coming home, enjoy it, and since our hallway is open, you can see the fairy lights through the door :)
Unfortunately, we now lock the garden after dark :(
