Firecrackers, are you serious?
Can any of you imagine what it is like to have to debate something that should be obvious? To hear exactly such sentences? Has any of you ever walked in the shoes of a minority?
Why am I so emotionally involved right now? Yes, here in Germany we are almost equal, at least we have nothing to fear from the government... a few kilometers further east it looks different... whether I look at countries with Islamic or Christian Orthodox religion. People are tortured and murdered there for who they love. When I look at the statements of some parties here in Germany, it scares me just as much! Yes, I pay attention to what and how something is said and express my opinion about it - precisely for these reasons. There is a problem... not just a perceived one. I am happy about everyone who at least says that they have no problem with minorities... that is acceptance, I am grateful for everyone who also shows tolerance and defends these values.
And that is simply equality. We are not taking anything away from anyone! On the contrary. We have just as much love to give as anyone else!
If you mean the AfD, I can reassure you. It is a collection of left and right without any clue. A lesbian living in Switzerland is elected to the board and is supposed to do German politics with radical ideas. Otherwise, I agree with you, but I think minorities have a good life in Germany. I don't care about other countries.
