The exterior plaster, the interior plaster, the wallpaper or the painter's fleece don't care at all what kind of wall is behind them. It may be so diffusion-open or breathable (there are many nice promises from manufacturers), but if it's well wrapped up, it doesn't help. It's like wearing high-tech diffusion-open sportswear and then putting a plain old-fashioned rubber raincoat over it...

The most expensive house on our street is currently being built (something like 4..5 million EUR) completely out of: CONCRETE *tata*. With a thick phaser-something insulation layer on top. Ok..2/3 of the surfaces are probably made of glass.

Why are they building it out of concrete? I don't know exactly..but I guess it's because of the statics. I think it's cool. It is definitely the last house that will still stand on our street

I wonder if they consider the heating costs at that price? Probably not, since there is also insulation on top.

But it's true, concrete is good for the static structure.

Ytong is concrete mixed with something containing aluminum so that the mixture foams and then gets better insulation values. So concrete with air inclusions and lime additive in the sand. Thus I live in a concrete house. And since there is no [WDVS] on it, it even breathes. It practically pants. In summer it experiences episodes of gasping for breath, then you have to open windows, otherwise it collapses. K.

I don't understand why so many people here are upset or don't understand the question. So very simple...

very simple question. Are the heating costs here then twice as high as, for example, with the usual KfW55 construction method?
