This is roughly how I could imagine such a checklist.
What do you think about it?

And if another (permissible) type of balcony sealing was chosen by the craftsman? Is the corresponding standard linked with min and max tolerances for each point? So basically you want to summarize what craftsmen learn in years of training into simple check points / sequences of actions so that a layperson can check it? I remain skeptical for now and will continue playing the complainer here ;)

That was a sample and refers in this case to this one version. Basically, I would then phrase it somewhat more generally, but connection heights, for example, are the same. Complaining is always an impetus for productive comparison ;) However, I notice in my job that precisely this years of expertise is not present in everyone and changes in standards are not always learned.

I am more in favor of creating such checklists for technical questions and ideas. Because especially in construction, I have noticed that there are so many small construction sites and you really have to more or less familiarize yourself with every field. What I have already taken away from various researches, for example, are things like:

Planning roof windows for access to the roof in case no other roof windows are planned. Or preferring a monoblock heat pump instead of a split unit if possible. Not planning the water storage too small and so on. This then continues to the ventilation system, e.g., sealing it during or shortly after the installation of the ventilation system and pipes to prevent dust or other things from entering. If you could put such points into a list, it would be very helpful for both planning and execution. What do you think?

I am a layperson and for me, the example above would still need to be significantly simplified – honestly, I don’t understand a word of it. Or rather, even if I did, I wouldn’t be able to judge it. How am I supposed to know if the “Hintermauerwerk dicht” is?

That’s why we also have a construction supervisor.
Who exactly is supposed to be the target audience?

For me, there was a checkmark for "Planning." More precise for me would be: before the planning. So rather before the initial meetings: What do I want? Do I already know what I want? And then approach the planner with the wishes and open points.
