Between the "checklist" for personal use and the "app that the expert also uses" there are still quite a few meters ;-)

I would find the latter more helpful, but it is also sufficiently complex again.

It starts with the checklists and can then be expanded.
I would first like to get feedback on the general assistance.

I believe an app with image processing is difficult to implement.

I feel exactly the opposite: a guide for using a defibrillator for first responders is useful, but a manual "the little heart surgeon, even without medical studies" is rather nonsense and not an appropriate design goal for the product.

I like checklists, whereby I would prefer the "Ten Commandments" (for the decision-maker on whether to call in a specialist) over the "50 Tips" (because better suited for the specialist), and "101 Dalmatians" would clearly overshoot the mark. Basically, I would gladly include something like that in my shop.

What exactly? Lists?

Basically, it's nice to be able to have discussions for a change!

Yes, checklists. With statements verifiable by laypeople, only individual points, no fault trees or flowcharts (that requires prior knowledge / practice), printed single-sided on DIN A4 sized paper. Clipboard, folding ruler, spirit level, credit card, two-euro coin, thumb, carpenter’s pencil, maybe painter’s tape and flashlight – you shouldn’t need more tools. Everything manageable without necessarily requiring a webinar beforehand, and also without an assistant.

I think the idea is great. For us, it is also the case that my husband thinks very deeply about the topic and we also do a lot of the renovation work ourselves. I find such lists very helpful as support and prompts for thought.
