This roof shape just looks better and takes away some of the "row" feeling from the terraced house. It looks more like an independent house, not so uniform.
If the neighbor doesn’t have a skylight, privacy should also be maintained.
Yes, I also find the roof shape nice, but there is the rule with the roof windows and 125 cm distance to the neighbor. And with a knee wall of 130 cm, a roof window only limited to one floor just doesn't work.
And what about a "light strip" running across under the ceiling? Like the ones sometimes above kitchen countertops?
That means a window band and I have suggested that as well. Or do you actually mean such an LED strip? That is more artificial light. You can get that in any shape.
You can also install a high window band in the partition wall above the hallway or another non-private room.
