Electric roller shutters for slanted roof windows

I am concerned about heat protection but also about darkening.

I think I probably can't avoid such roller shutters with solar module and battery with a wireless switch inside.

Even when the roller shutters are closed, you can easily open the window.

When you open the window, the darkening is naturally gone.

Then please make sure to get wireless roller shutters that you can also control with your retrofit smart home (directly or via actuators). Otherwise, the next thread will come up right away...

I retrofitted my skylights with them (Velux). Best heat protection.

When the roller shutters were down, the windows could only be opened partially, i.e. just a bit.

And if there was snow on them, preferably frozen solid, it was dark for a few days ....

that would be no problem I still have 2 floor-to-ceiling windows in the attic studio I would have preferred to leave out the roof window entirely

the floor-to-ceiling windows have electric shutters as standard
