Woodworm in timber frame house - How to defend against it?

Do you have pets? Do you store bird food for the winter? Bark mulch for the garden?

I would repeat the check of the food items, namely: check all flours + the drawers they are stored in. Then groats, seeds, nuts. Same procedure. Finally, possibly existing animal feed/bedding.

All this is more likely than in the wood, although that cannot be entirely ruled out.

Oh, what a nightmare.

Are there any holes visible in the wood anywhere?

We had wood wasps.
They came in through birches we have as decoration.
That was quite a shock at first.

Unfortunately, no holes are visible; they now come out from under the baseboards, and we have exceeded the mark of 30 per day...
To see something, I would have to tear off the drywall from the walls, but I am still waiting for the response from the construction company.
We have been collecting and documenting the beetles for a few days, and when you open the jar with the beetles, a fresh wood smell comes out.

Bark mulch is only in the garden by the plants.
We only have pet food for the dog, and there is nothing to be found there.
We have checked the food again, there is nothing to be found...
We have searched all the cupboards, even two small cherry pit pillows we have searched...

What kind of baseboards do you have? Also made of wood? Removable? Are they even nailed onto square timbers?

According to the laminate packaging [Eiche pressholz]. Yes, I can remove that, I will do it tomorrow. I had removed one, but you can't see the wooden structure of the house there...

Do you possibly have a Swedish stove? And do you store wood in a basket? We have already had all kinds of things in there...
