Where is the difference? Either you inherit or you renounce ==> either you are then proportionally responsible for the disposal (simplified, because the compulsory portion is only the claim for money) or not at all.

Notary fees or alternatively fees at the probate court for the renunciation. After that, no further costs arise since the inheritance has been renounced. For an inheritance share of €100,000, that is somewhere around €140. Is that too much or do you see a problem with it?
