Which wallbox? Preparation for new construction

The construction has not started yet (but it is a developer project) and the conversation with the electrician is still to come.

So you wouldn’t install the wallbox yet and would only have the cable laid?

My idea was that I prepare everything with the electrician so that in, for example, 1 year I don’t have to call an electrician again and especially don’t have to look for which electrician is willing to come for 1 wallbox (they are all booked up).

Do I have to have a separate meter installed or is it enough if I have a wallbox with an energy meter (MID compliant)?

In my opinion, the advantage of the fixed installation so far has been that it was subsidized by the KfW. Movable ones were not.

If you have a 32A socket installed, also tell the electrician that this is intended for a wallbox with xy KW, so that everything from the fuse, cross-section to circuit breaker is dimensioned and secured properly right away!

However, I do not know how this works with company car billing. is right though, two empty conduits dimensioned accordingly and you still have all options open. Still consider what KW your wallbox should have someday, so that everything from the grid operator to the distribution box can be planned accordingly.

Of course I would tell the electrician so he can secure everything.

I believe the claims have also expired and will probably not be renewed.

But regarding safety, it doesn't matter which solution I choose?

I have the Fronius Wattpilot. From the ADAC test winner. And because I also have a Fronius inverter, the best solution. And the most effective way to use photovoltaic electricity.

Hi, we had Zappy myEnergi wallboxes installed for every parking space. (but we were also lucky to get a lot of funding in connection with KfW40+ :p) They have the possibility, in combination with the Zappy hub and Harvi, to display the electricity consumed via the WB, also separated by photovoltaic and grid electricity. When charging, you can also set it to use only surplus electricity (photovoltaic) in the WB. The display or reading out is also supposed to work via the app, but our solar installer has not yet managed to set it up (I can’t do it myself because I’m missing relevant data for it :rolleyes:) We had the cable dimensioned by the electrician and then laid it ourselves to the WB with a data cable (CAT7 outdoor installation cable). In the future, I would even lay 2 data cables because a serial AND a network connection might be necessary. We then ordered the wallbox stands to match the wallboxes since we didn’t have a wall nearby for mounting.
