And with that, you face the same problems as with implementing an island solution. Automatic switching, uninterrupted... that's not easy.

If the inverter, smart meter, and wallbox/car communicate with each other, it should surely be possible to set that the power from the storage is not fed into the grid, but only used for the EV. So why should this result in an island operation with grid disconnection? Furthermore, it should also be no problem to set a limit, e.g. that at least 50% of the power remains in the car battery.
