I almost thought so.
Thank you very much for the quick information.
Then I will have something from the mid-price range offered to me.

I am not claiming that a more expensive system is better. But since the initial question was what was installed...:

We have a 90s Kathrein dish with Kathrein LNB and Kathrein cables LCD115 and LCD111

If you have long distances, definitely do not skimp on the cables.

There is also a lot of hocus-pocus involved in something like that. But I am just the same. I even laid the cables myself so that the electrician wouldn’t install any crappy cables. However, the TV would have worked anyway; it’s more about the feeling for the men.

Fuba 85cm bowl
Inverto LNB
Multiswitch SPAUN SMS 5807 NF
PremiumX antenna cable with copper
PremiumX roof rafter bracket

All together great.
Living in a rather windy area and Friederike couldn’t harm the bowl.

Wind and dish. If you have a garage, screw it onto that. Then it’s a bit more protected, choosing a sturdy mount is easy and cheap, had to do it once, for example to change the LNB because water got in and it was broken, you can reach it from the garage roof with a ladder. That’s how I have it. Cable routed through the roof dormer to the floor and done. Since we only have two connection points, we skipped the switch and took a duo LNB with built-in switch. Two people, two TVs. The end. The reception quality, I’ll let you in on a secret, depends almost 100% on the TV. But the cable manufacturer doesn’t want this to become public. I’m telling you anyway. Mid-terrace house without garage [emoji6] Roof access possible via exit/platform chimney. Also settings, disassembly etc. no problem. But that should really be taken into account.
