Hey. We were able to do a factory tour at Luxhaus and also look at the sample exhibition. There we were shown which things are standard and how much extra they cost.

The sampling is meant for selecting the exact materials, that is, things like color/decor, not the price category itself. The latter is sufficiently described in the construction specifications, and you can check with specialty retailers to see if the stuff in price category xy is already high quality.

Mistakes happen during the assembly of prefabricated houses. You don’t see the rest inside the panel. During the interior finishing, it is advisable to be on site every day. Not just every few weeks with the expert. You notice mistakes even without knowledge. If something seems strange to you, for example water dripping through the roof, sockets not installed as specified, craftsmen also think along and may make you a suggestion for improvement.
For example, we had the cheapest door speakers, which are simply unnecessary here. The electrician says he had those too, they break if the children drop the receivers.

Because the finishing, and by that I don’t mean wallpapering, takes place outside with 5-10 trades. So it differs in no way in terms of the potential for errors from masonry. On the contrary, in my opinion it is even more difficult to react to a planning error.
