Which flooring in the entrance/hallway? Who has experience? Pictures?

Did we already change the floor plan? ;) A very narrow, long corridor will still remain a very narrow, long corridor. EDIT: I just saw that the entrance door is at the top in the picture and not the door on the left. I don’t find it bad at all that way. The corridor only really starts once you have turned right towards Child 1+2. At the entrance, in my opinion, it will not feel like a corridor.

Maybe something can be done with the color on the wall or by lowering the ceiling height (I don't remember how high it was); our guest WC also feels quite narrow and tall due to the height in relation (with 1.4 m depth, 3 m length, and 2.55 m height)

Actually like parquet flooring in the hallway. We have a ceiling height of 2.65 m everywhere except for the kitchen / living room, where it is 4.30 m open up to the ridge.
