Which floor is suitable for Jura marble?

Yes... by now I also think that might not be such a bad idea. Then at least we would have the same floor everywhere and not the break in the kitchen. Which countertop would you choose for white then? Wood look or would gray also fit?

I would also tear out the baseboards and replace them with white wooden strips. Classic country style or modern... depending on how you want it. The baseboards made of Jura stone make the room somehow old-fashioned.

I actually think white goes very well with the beige floor. Only the color of the countertop leaves me uncertain again. A beam will presumably not go there; the wall will be completely removed.

Oh, interesting idea. I hadn’t thought about that before. However, it would be a big effort to do that throughout the entire ground floor. For cleaning, it’s actually quite practical as it is. But thanks for your suggestion.

Here are two pictures as inspiration for how it could look. We also have natural stone (travertine)... color-wise similar to yours. A wooden baseboard is very sturdy and no problem to clean.

Wow, thank you so much for the pictures! That looks great. We really have to think about it (or see what the budget will allow in the end ;-)).
