What height should the visible plinth on the house have?

The point of the base in color is that you don't see the dirt from splashing water. As far as I understand from this, no one has a really high base and 30cm should probably be enough.

These visible plinths often in anthracite unfortunately look terrible (at least with the rather modern new buildings). Plinth color in wall color is modern and looks much nicer to me.

I also like a completely white house, but the lower edge will probably get visibly dirty quickly because of that.

No, why? The gravel border should be at least about 30cm wide. That protects.

As always, everyone here has their own taste. We deliberately painted the plinth anthracite, together with our anthracite gravel strip it looks absolutely great.

Overall, everything just has to be harmonious (roof color, house color, plinth). Red roof, white house, and anthracite plinth is of course not so harmonious.
