But I do have a drip edge there too, right? And even though the perimeter insulation extends further out than the masonry of the facade, doesn’t it?

if the brick is set on the outer edge of the ceiling, then the perimeter insulation still protrudes by 16 cm, doesn’t it?

I’m asking to gather information on how it could be done. But the picture above actually shows how it’s done. It should now increasingly happen that the perimeter insulation becomes larger and thus protrudes further than the masonry. Twenty years ago it was the other way around because hardly any perimeter insulation was done back then and, of course, the facade masonry protruded further out than the basement "insulation"/wall?

So there is no architect with the appropriate expertise?

Actually, I just wanted to get some ideas here on how to solve this visually?

May I ask if the aversion to a protruding plinth is more of an aesthetic nature? Because most new buildings currently seem to have a flush plinth.

Okay, I'll say it very directly: Your problem is NOT the appearance but the sealing. For that, you need a professional, both for planning and execution. If that's too expensive for you, then do it the way you like. Save a few euros and expect moderate construction damage, which can easily run into the tens of thousands.

The forum can never replace the appropriate expertise, and any opinions that may be present can become very costly for you.

Yes, that is clear. Ultimately, the architect has to take responsibility. But if the base protrudes, you won’t get around using a sheet metal with a drip edge, as in the following picture, for example? Or do you consider that to be incorrectly executed?
