Which floor is suitable for Jura marble?

If you want to avoid the effort with the baseboards but still want the effect, then paint them with chalk paint.

Get different samples of the countertop/front and compare them with the floor in artificial and daylight.

I just wanted to sincerely thank everyone who responded to me here! I wonder why we didn’t think of patching the floor ourselves. Sometimes you can’t see the forest for the trees.

It’s really great to get such constructive advice here and to see so many people get involved.

Regarding the countertop, we’ll probably get some samples and then see whether gray concrete looks good or if maybe wood look would be better.

Get various options to compare. We had dragged in and laid out and set up various samples from the kitchen studio and the tile shop.

The kitchen is part of the open-plan living area and should remain discreet and not be the focal point of the room
