When is land development? Before construction road or after removal

So a construction road can also be dug up and subsequently closed again. Of course, it costs a bit more, but here with us, for example, the municipal utilities refused to lay anything into the house before the roof, windows, and doors were installed. This may also have been related to the connection itself, but in this way, the construction road was dug up multiple times (because the neighbors were also connected at different times) and replaced by a permanent one hardly two years later.

Oh, of course, that is correct. Electricity and telecommunications also only want to go into a densely built house in Berlin. However, everything can already be prepared. Either with empty conduits and pull cords inside or, as I plan, with an external column connection / transfer shaft (but this is not possible with Telekom) and then the rest in EL. However, it depends on the provider what is possible.

Whether having an external connection is still up-to-date now, I'll leave that open, but of course it is possible.

I have never considered this from that dimension. In what way is it no longer up-to-date? For us, these are purely practical (cost-related) considerations due to the land configuration with division into front and back. The idea that something might no longer be up-to-date did not occur to me.

Well, in the past, electricity and telephone connections were standardly installed outside. In fact, even today you can still order this from Telekom and thereby save the connection fees (almost 800 EUR). However, Telekom itself cites the following reasons for the indoor connection:
[*]Protection against damage and tampering [*]Simple connection to the wiring in the house and the equipotential bonding [*]No impairment of the thermal insulation of the house [*]Preservation of the appearance of the house facade [*]Avoidance of drilling above ground level (above the terrain surface)
(Grammar uncorrected) Personally, I wouldn't bother with such a small amount when building, but everyone has to decide that for themselves.

Ok, but you have only considered Telekom now.

For electricity and water in Berlin, an additional amount of about 50 EUR per meter that still needs to be dug is added. For me, that is 1,000 for the person behind due to threshold values, about 2,000 EUR.
And then there's the issue of having to constantly dig up the construction road... That would then be eliminated.
Overall, we are already talking about several thousand EUR.

Then we can better utilize the EL synergy. Otherwise, digging up would still be necessary for each party. This way we lay the connections to the houses once, and the connections at the boundary to the street can then be scheduled independently.
