Ah yes, core beech, we have that in the children's room with the furniture because it is warm and friendly. In our case, it is definitely much less red/orange than classical beech. Your other interior style doesn't necessarily seem to fit perfectly with it. However, core beech combines very well with gray and white, of course, also fits. Therefore, in your case, I would look for a very grayish tone. Maybe a gray where a slight brown can barely be detected. That would also pick up the dark, cool color of the railing. The beech will definitely come across well in that contrast but will, of course, also be emphasized. That can look good if, for example, you use rattan baskets in a similar color tone in the hallway or a jute rug as a runner, or something along those lines. Then the staircase doesn't appear as a foreign body, but you can still combine the gray look well with it. So, I wouldn't try to combine a wood tone in any way but would go directly for something very gray-heavy.
Check out a guide from Wimmer Massivholzmöbel. They have shown different types of wood with different colors. Great to get an idea of the effect and combination possibilities. You can find it in one of the usual search engines since linking is unfortunately not allowed here.
