What height bathtub?

our bathtub has just been installed and in our opinion it is too low. From the top of the screed to the top of the tub it is only 45 cm. Are we mistaken? Is there a standard height?

The standard seems to be about 60 cm. With classic 15 cm tiles, people used to stack 4 tiles on top of each other, which including the grout was about 61.5 cm. What tile size do you have? Today the size is often 30x60, so about 60 cm, meaning 2 rows are sensible for visual reasons. Otherwise, the bathtub floor should not be significantly lower than the eventual floor to avoid feeling like sitting in a hole when in the tub. On the other hand, a low entry is advantageous in old age.

The bathtub carrier can be placed on the unfinished floor - with a 15 cm floor construction, 45 cm will still protrude (is it even possible otherwise?)

We also have 60x30 tiles. The tiles are not installed yet. The bathtub is Kaldewei Puro. Currently, as mentioned, the bathtub is positioned so that the bottom of the tub is approximately at the height of the raw floor (=screed height). However, only about 45 cm protrudes.... With our current bathtub it's 58, with my mother’s it’s 56. It seems about 10-15 cm too low to us. Or is it done differently nowadays, as BeHaElJa says?

What does the sanitation person say? There are predetermined heights for all sanitary fixtures (washbasin, toilet, etc.).

I have not reached the plumber yet. We noticed it on Friday evening, after the bathtub was "closed up" and plastered. :-(
