We built with the red big brother of Allkauf Haus. The craftsmen we had on the construction site all unanimously said that it is better if you buy everything complete.
If you don’t really do A LOT yourself, but instead subcontract the work back to Allkauf Haus (you probably won’t find other craftsmen who will do it for you according to the "instructions"), in the end you pay just as much or even more than if you had bought the work included from the beginning.
Many things that were already delivered finished to us have to be installed later in the expansion packages from Allkauf Haus. For example, our walls were already fully plastered. With Allkauf Haus, the drywall panels are only added later; frequently insulation still has to be done on site.
We looked at several companies and with those that were cheaper at first, we found that one thing or another was added on and in the end we always ended up at about the same price.
