One way or another, higher ceilings should correspond with taller windows and interior doors, otherwise you can save yourself the cost of raising the floor level. Otherwise, it just looks a bit unfinished, like trying and failing.
Absolutely right. When I imagine the "normal" doors in our place – it wouldn’t look "cohesive."
Upstairs, we have many sloped ceilings.
Bedroom about 18 sqm and bathroom 17 sqm, the ceiling height really comes into its own.
In the two small rooms (AZ / GZ) there is a tiny bit more headroom, we only have 80 cm knee wall, and after subtracting the finished floor, 63 cm remain... so even there, the high ceiling is pleasant.
