I am really unsure.

We have planned 2.57. However, our living and dining room will be 50 sqm. I am really afraid that this will feel oppressive.

We have about 53 sqm living-dining-kitchen area; separated by a double-wing always open sliding door though. Ceiling height 2.6 m. So nothing feels oppressive. How tall are you all? I think that almost has more influence on the feeling than the height of the ceiling itself.

We are 1.85 and 1.75.
In our apartment, we currently have 2.43.

What would 10 cm more ceiling height cost? Are you currently bothered by your 2.43? Is the room square or is it the classic L-shape?

The room is rectangular.

I cannot tell you how much half a stone, that is 12.5, would cost more. We are building with an architect and individual contracting.

We are currently in the process of completing the building permit application, and we should have clarified that point beforehand.

If you're worrying so much about it, take half a stone more. In my opinion, 2.57 m is enough too - but before you spend your whole life wondering, "what if"
