We need parquet, is a bargain possible?

I had spoken to a dealer, who said that second choice only refers to tongue and groove..... you are supposed to need 10% more waste, so more material, but if the installer charges per m², then it doesn't matter.

Check Ebay, there parquet starts at €10 per square meter. Planks from €20. That gives you your entry prices for good parquet.
With glued parquet, you don't see a difference between the €140 and the €25 floors. I know the comparison very well from my projects. The high-priced parquet has a slightly thicker top layer and, for example, the click system is worked a bit more precisely. But it is not worth the extra cost.

thanks for the tip....my main concern is that the wood comes from the EU or is certified, so not from the Far East or anything like that ...right?

is it a matter of taste or which wood should I take?
