Ah, I see.

Anyway. We have both solid parquet and tiles. In the tiled rooms, the heat seems to dissipate faster from the floor, at least perceptibly. Regardless of the fact that wood naturally has a lower heat transfer coefficient and therefore the surface feels warmer than tiles.

However, the question is touched upon by the 2nd law of thermodynamics. The 1st law has as much or as little to do with it as anything else.

Lumpi_LE said it: With a better insulator (compared wood vs. tiles), you need a higher supply temperature for the same surface temperature. That's basically it.

Whether the wooden floor stores a certain amount of heat longer also depends on its thickness; often it is thicker than tiles. Without the parameters, nothing valid can be said. But it doesn't matter:

Parquet must be suitable, then it works well. The additional supply temperature is not so high that it justifies a fundamental discussion.

Offer from a specialist company (not a hardware store):
Country house plank gross 46.17 €
Sanding substrate: gross 2.62 €
Gluing gross 28.56 €
Initial care gross 10.71 €
Baseboard gross 4.28 € per running meter
Installing baseboard 4.64 € per running meter
Baseboard connections 10.71 € per running meter
In total, I come to 6,694.58 € for 65 sqm, which corresponds to 103 € / sqm
