Voilà, the tiles are hung. The edge will be finished with acrylic.
Someone laid the tiles, I grouted. Now I am really happy with the colors. For the curious: this is what it looks like: I tiled the hallway at the entrance and the guest bathroom:
Thank you! The tile splashback in the hallway is supposed to catch the scratches and marks along the wall. The wall always looked quite shabby rather quickly. I have a fairly high customer traffic downstairs in the building and had to come up with something. And I didn't want it to look like "I have to protect myself against your handbags and dirty jackets." Now it has become "stoneware on plaster." I am glad that others also find it nice. Even though I have received a lot of positive feedback, you really only see colored tiles rarely. Just be brave, I say to you.
The one short edge is of course a bit unfortunate, but don't worry about it, the tilers messed up countless times for me too. Unfortunately, I only noticed it later. Much worse for me is the partially opposing slope in the walk-in shower. Otherwise, the colorful thing wouldn't be for me, but it looks nice.
Which short edge do you mean? The one on the left in the WC? You can't even see it in the photos. :D The WC is so small that I can't get everything inside in the picture.
